Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Proprietor Of Mobile Pet Salon In San Jose




Rachel Murphy was deeply upset by the horrific experience his five pound dog Toto went through over the weekend. Rachel claimed that the dog was bloodied and distressed after a groomer had taped Toto r’s lips shut.

Rachel explained, "My pet was clearly distressed. What I initially believed was a mask turned out be tape. Toto r was clearly injured and his paws were red. His toenails, cut too closely to the paws likely caused him to bite.


The groomer responsible for these actions was employed by Wow! My Dog, a mobile pet salon.

Rachel took Toto right away to the doctor for emergency treatment. He has accused Wow! My Dog of animal abuse, joining numerous others who have made similar allegations. San Mateo has launched an investigation to determine if the company is guilty of animal cruelty.

Rachel explained the injuries that he saw, saying, "I observed wounds around the neck and genital region." The cuts were so severe that they caused bleeding."

Marianna De las Vegas posted on Yelp a review about how Wow! My Dog returned his animals to him in a bad condition or with injuries. One customer posted a Snapchat clip of a dog who appeared to be in distress, alleging that the groomer forced a napkin down its ear.

Wow! My Dog wants customers to also be aware of what groomer told them, as a person they had trusted with their pets. Rachel revealed, "Juliann informed that it was acceptable to tape the mouth closed, and that it's preferable to using muzzles, which he believed could be harmful to dogs. He also stated that he personally applies this method to website his own dog."

Gate News contacted Wow! My Dog who answered it but handed it off to a woman, who informed her that she was investigating the allegations. However, when questioned about Wow! My Dog, she quickly asserted that it was a separate entity before abruptly ending the call.
